given the canon ef 85mm f/1.8's
fantastic performance on the weekend,
i gave the 28mm f/2.8 a run this arvo -
a possible replacement for the
now defunct efs 10-22mm. 

it didn't do to badly.

hbfs - daft punk (ghetto ruckus remix) this has been around for a while,
but is still one of the only good raft dunk remixes out there.

UWA's new electro club 'ignition' is hosting its first event this friday at shape, the fellas have put alot of cash into getting banggangs dj's doom and hoodrat out here, so get down there early and grab one of the few remaining tickets at the door.
ill be there taking some flicks, so who knows - your mug might even show up on here.

a little track by a mate of mine.

they say change is as good as a holiday, so i spent the day re-arranging my bedroom.

the addition of numerous pieces of furniture and a 'good dust' went down a treat.

tomorrow i commit the mountain of work that looms.

shanty towns of the shipwreck coast.

old mate and i headed up to wedge yesterday for a flick and a 4x4. the hilux was loving it as seen below.

we found a van at the tip and thought we would try and give it a jump start. it however would not start, as i was lacking an engine. instead we grabbed the snatchy and hooked her up. 

she was pretty good at cutting hoops, but impossible to tip.

on our way we met many happy residents of the town.

as well as a few greenhorn convoys.

there were a few moments when the beach just slipped away, but given our high speed, it was easy to recover.

but once we headed inland, patches of water became deeper and more abundant - testing the depth before crossing was imperative.
